Chit Chat

Silent connection through posture and presence.

Mid-gossip, deep in thought, or just joking - these paired forms are having a moment!

Chit Chat celebrates the conversations that happen without words, through familiarity, companionship and shared understanding.

The kind of shared silence that says everything - a playful nod to the small ways we stay in sync and the comfort of being understood.

The Beginning

I've always loved the shape of beans, and although these pieces started there, somewhere along the way they became a reflection on beginnings.

A bean is a seed, a source of nourishment and a tiny container of possibility. It could become almost anything.

When I hold this piece, I instinctively support it like a baby - protecting its head, holding it close.

Perhaps that's what beginnings do.

They invite us to care for them.

Nummia Companions

Nummias are a growing community of curious little beings, each with their own personality, preferences and presence.

Some look as though they've just overheard gossip. Others look like they are the gossip. Most have opinions and are mildly dramatic.

Inspired by imaginary friends and the comfort of having something familiar nearby, each Nummia is hand-built, named and arrives with its own Identity Passport.

Together they form a slightly odd, affectionate gathering of devoted vessels, inviting curiosity, connection and companionship.

Carry Me

Sitting under the larger vessel's curved belly, the smaller vessel waits with a quiet sense of trust and dependence.

Together they feel less like objects and more like a shared moment - reminding me of an infant who isn't yet walking, looking up and asking to be carried.

Some relationships don't need words.

They are built through closeness, care and the comfort of knowing someone is there when you need them.

Finding My Way

You don't always know exactly where you're going. You simply keep moving, one small step at a time, trusting that the path will gradually reveal itself.

After discovering the delicate wandering lines of a snail trail in my studio, tracing a journey I hadn't witnessed, they felt strangely familiar. Life often feels this way.

A series of small decisions, wrong turns, adjustments and discoveries that only make sense when you look back.

This little brass snail is a reminder of that.

When the piece is fired, a trail of clear glaze will trace its journey across the surface.

We're all finding our way, at our own pace.

Precious To Me

When my daughter was small, she would often bring me the most ordinary things and declare them precious.

A tiny treasure that couldn't possibly be thrown away - the absolute conviction children have that the smallest things can be priceless.

In their eyes, its importance is never in question. This collection grew from those moments.

Each sculpture stands with a quiet sense of certainty, reminding us that value isn't always measured by usefulness, rarity or worth.

Sometimes the things we cherish most are meaningful for reasons only we understand.
